II JORNADES EUROPEES CONTRA LA CORRUPCIÓ
En maig de l’any passat, Atelier ONGD, amb l’Observatori Ciutadà contra la Corrupció – del qual formem part junt amb altres sis entitats de la Comunitat Valenciana – organitzem les II Jornadas Europeas: Jóvenes – Ciudadanía – Transparencia y Lucha contra la Corrupción. Des d’aleshores, s’ha produït un allau de nous casos de corrupció davant dels quals la ciutadania assisteix perplexa i impotent. Les entitats organitzadores creiem que les administracions públiques competents en la matèria han d’intensificar el seu treball per garantir la transparència i actuar eficaçment en la prevenció de casos de corrupció.
També, a la ciutadania i a les organitzacions socials, ens correspon un significant paper. Per això, proposem un espai de diàleg i intercanvi d’experiències entre responsables polítics, representants institucionals, experts i ciutadans, especialment joves.
Aquest espai de debat es durà a terme en les II Jornadas Europeas: Jóvenes – Ciudadanía – Transparencia y Lucha contra la Corrupción, que se celebrarà els pròxims 11, 12 i 13 de maig en el Campus de Tarongers de la Universitat de València, amb la cofinanciació del programa Erasmus+ de la Unió Europea. El dijous de vesprada (16h) i el divendres durant tot el dia (10h-20h), estarem al Saló de Graus de la Facultat de Dret de la Universitat de València. I el dissabte 13 estarem de matí, a les 10h, a la biblioteca de Ciències Socials Gregori Mayans.
El debat d’aquests dies girarà al voltant de la pregunta “podem previndre la corrupció?”. Sobre aquesta qüestió tractarem de llançar llum, a través de les experiències i de les bones pràctiques en la matèria per part de representants d’administracions públiques locals i autonòmiques; a través de la visió i pràctica d’algunes organitzacions de les societats civils d’Espanya, Itàlia i Croàcia; i, per descomptat, de les aportacions que les persones assistents realitzen a través dels espais de debat.
Som conscients de la importància i del potencial de les noves tecnologies en els impulsos de la transparència i la lluita contra la corrupció; per això, un dels fils conductors de les Jornades seran el paper de les TIC, amb la presentació d’innovadores eines en aquest àmbit.
Amb aquest debat busquem aportar eines i noves vies d’acció per a la participació política i social de la ciutadania, sobretot de la població més jove. Per això, l’últim dia de les Jornades realitzarem un taller d’elaboració de propostes concretes per a la lluita contra la corrupció.
